Sterility testing in compliance with USP and EP guidelines is offered by Creative Biolabs. We do all of our sterility testing in clean rooms or isolators. Membrane filtration testing techniques have been used to screen the cell line to ensure that no aerobic, anaerobic, or fungal bacteria are present.
For recently established cell lines, identity testing is necessary. Isoenzyme analysis is used to verify a cell line's species identity. Other techniques for determining someone's identification include karyology, STR analysis, and DNA fingerprinting.
